We better get Griffin and multiple ones for the next James Harden

        Trade him for ANYTHING

Detroit’s criminals! A neighborhood of dollar properties! Some picked copper from an abandoned building...ANYTHING

Consider how much it would suck if we gave up on a 20 year old we drafted #1 a mere 18 months ago, only to witness him blossom into a superstar with another team.

It would be like the Sandberg trade on steroids, something fans would regret 100+ years after the fact just like Red Sox fans still lament ownership selling Babe Ruth to the Yankees.

I realize you may not agree, but there is definitely a higher than 0% chance of this happening.

So what do we do? We keep Fultz for another 1.5 seasons until his rookie deal expires. If he hasn't figured it out by then we let him go for nothing. That's better than trading him for garbage now.

This all would make sense and be fine...

If having him around the team wasn’t wildly distracting and his personality and demeanor, posture and confidence — infectious drains on the collective psychology of the team. If you think the Sixers current roster can win a title, then it doesn’t matter if you cut him and he blossoms because you’ve won a title. So either he is not a factor OR he’s a giant liability. If their current roster can not win and needs another player that’s fine and they can open a spot in any manner of ways, he doesn’t have to be part of the equation. In R it’s called rm(var).

I do agree with this...how much is it really hurting the team to have this guy around? Probably not too much, and worth the risk to see if he pans out pot physical therapy

I'd do it for next to nothing. Addition by subtraction.

I’m now hearing Sixers even threw in liability assumption of the Flint water crisis.

                        Panic in Detroit.
