    Shocker!

He is only 32, should still have a lot left, plus all that experience should be worth something.

End of an era...he has 5 career goals in 12 World Cup games, that's more than Messi, Cristiano and van Persie have combined in their 29 career games.

I suppose Klinsmann thinks that we're not going to get out of the Group of Death, so why not blood younger players?

I don't think so. His body is pretty beat up. He's missed training. Hard for me to understand but I think Klinsmann just thinks he's toast. We'll see. Hard to imagine them getting out of that group. Would love to see them beat those pussoires from Portugal.

This is a bit of a shock, even though you could sorta see it coming. I hope it's not a mistake.

As an aside, one of the reasons I like the World Cup is that the event never was a big competitive thing for me growing up.

So now I have multiple teams/countries I would like to win, and also lots of teams/countries I want to lose. So I don't live and die with one team like I do with the Eagles.

That's a great point, same here. Top- notch competition and no matter what it won't be a gut punch when its over

                          Philly fans hate him.

                          He talks funny.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

I would have taken Donovan over Zusi or even Wondo.

I'd really like to see Julian Green bring something to the table.

                              Bummed.
