Agreed, good news. I don't think he was ever really healthy last year.

Nice!! I'm honestly surprised it happened this quickly.

I bet it's a team friendly deal/hometown discount b/c his agent and he didn't want to test the market with the pool being this deep.

He also made it pretty clear that he wanted to stay in town. Everybody's happy.

As long as the money is good, this is a solid signing. He was hurt last year he should be strong healthy in 2019.

I'm still expecting 2 of the first three picks to be for the lines.

On another note: Is it fair to suggest that maybe taking Graham over Thomas was the right move (Super Bowl, aside)?

He never made a Pro Bowl. Paying for past performance.

Wow, that's pretty surprising if true. IDK if I'd have gone that high. Not this soon anyway.

Linemen aren't all defensive ends and now that's not as big a priority as it would have been without Graham

Answer to question: it's less of an annoyance but it Thomas was still the pick to make at the time IMO

There's allegedly a lot of DL talent in this year's draft, so I think they'll shoot their shot with who's available. Long and bennett probably are only here for 2019.

It's pretty hard to tell now! Kinda incredible for BG. The Super bowl probably puts it over the edge. Plus Thomas is a turds fan.

Great news, keeping him with what they already have and maybe Long coming back at a low salary they solidify that position.

If he had made a Pro Bowl, would that change anything about paying for past performance?

Brandon Graham's stats have never reflected how good he is, even when he had his best season in 2017. Last year he was still PFF's 8th ranked DE. He's been playing very well for 4-5 years now.

Joe Thmas congratulated BG on tweeter. Said he’s underrated which is a nice compliment from a first ballot HOF’er.

Is that auto-correct for Agholor? I think he comes back on a pretty team friendly deal.

I think the Jernigan move was made so they could pay Graham. DT needs to be a priority in the draft.
