I'll have to disagree. Kobe was bad at times, but what he wasn't was scared. Almost every NBA rookie, especially the straight from HS guys or one and done has to find their NBA looks, and where they can get them, and has to be willing to get stuffed. Fultz looks scared to look stupid, and you can't have that. He did look more confident on attempts near the rim, but even then had hesitation that you can't have in the NBA. its his first opener, first regular season game starting, lot of firsts. Lets hope he gets a lot more chesty. I have seen plenty of glimpses as to why he could be a stud, just not the consistent attitude to get him there. Not gonna freak out over the first game though.

If Fultz and Simmons are both on the floor then Embiid is going to have 3 guys on him the second he touches the ball near the paint. We all know that Simmons' jump shot is somewhere between "non-existant" and "work in progress," but Fultz is supposed to have a jumper. It's going to kill their offense.

Did Brown give a reason for Fultz's no-show in the second half?
