Everything seems to be pointing towards a run at Leonard. They drafted a bunch of guards. Fultz will have to be included in the deal. Brown is talking about pursuing a 'star'.

As far as the LA talk, sure it could happen but it seems like every year they talk about everyone wanting to go play with the Lakers. Building a superteam there still means you need to get past Houston and Golden State.

I'm not sure what makes sense at this point. All I know is I'm a big fan of obtaining an additional asset by moving down the draft board and still getting one of the players you covet. Colangelo wouldn't have done this.

Colangelo def wouldn't have done this. He would have done the rumored trade of 10, 26 and Fultz to move into the top 5 to take MPJ who was already plummeting down draft boards.

The Thunder got PG13 at a reduced price because he made it known he was going to LA. OKC thought if they had a full year to get him around the team, sell him on the area and just build a great rapport that they could maybe convince him to stay. Latest reports are that as much as he wants to go home to play, he’s torn on leaving OKC/Westbrook. The gamble may work for OKC, it may not, but if you have a chance to get a star, you do it and go from there.

Get Kawhi in here, let Brett and Monty rekindle whatever relationship they had with him in San An, let Joel’s personality sell him and see what happens.

If they match up the salaries on a Kawhi deal, theyd still have money for LeBron if they moved Bayless, which they have plenty of marginal young talent and future 2nds to attach to his contract to do.

There’s word that Bron’s kids and wife want to live in LA or Cleveland so maybe he follows their lead but from a pure basketball standpoint, would he rather player with MAYBE PG13, Lonzo (and Lavar), Ingram and Kuzma while having to beat GS and HOU just to get to the Finals or would he rather play with Simmons, Embiid, Kawhi and Dario with only Boston to contend with for the East?

Going to be an exciting summer.

I'm leaning that way as well as far as Kawhi goes. Too many recent examples of athletes that come to Philly and embrace it. Brett Brown may not be the greatest coach on the planet but he's a good coach and there is no doubt that players like playing for him. Maybe you just roll the dice.

What is the 1st pick like?

Like having a pre-sale code for a Strokes concert at the Brooklyn Bowl.

Any D1 player can look good in highlights, but FWIW...kid looks like he might have been the best athlete in the draft. He’s got some incredible stuff here...
