Watching it live on my phone (small screen) my original thought was a bang-bang play. Different angles showed more separation but who’s to say the ref had an ideal angle? I’m not defending the call but it was human error in the moment.
The Eagles call - the Head official and his office had time and discuss it and get it right. It was a true fuck up of the year. Still never heard a follow up from the NFL regarding the fuck up of 2018. -
