  • Eagles Getting No Respect Next Year Already

Same odds as Cleveland to win SB54.

Eagles roster is going to have a ton of turnover so Im not surprised. Eagles shouldnt have even made the playoffs this year. I could see a big learning curve coming next season. That said the NFC will be wide open again and Eagles have a soft schedule.

Here's what a bettor sees when he looks at the 2019 Eagles:

          1) Their last starting QB/Super Bowl winning insurance policy is out the door
          2) Their QB of the future is a medical question mark
          3) Their best interior lineman is out with a torn Achilles
          4) Their starting LT is 36 years old and declining
          5) Their best DE is a free agent and unlikely to return
          6) They have no running game to speak of
          7) The have the worst cap situation of any team in the league, 17 players on expiring contracts, and they haven't even locked up their QB yet

All of these things are manageable, and some of them may be overstated, but until the questions are answered, smart money isn't going either way on the 2019 Eagles. That's not a lack of respect, it's just reality. There's a lot of work to be done this offseason.

Not really all that bad, considering the uncertainty at the moment. Restructure some contracts and create some cap space, fill the void at DE in free agency, draft well, Carson shows up at mini-camp healthy and ready to roll, money will start moving their way.

Not that I give a damn. What were the odds of them winning it all in the 2017 off-season again?

I’m putting $ on the Eagles. Every team has flaws. Carson is going to stick it up everyone’s ass next year and they have moves they can make. What they did in December/January is nothing short of a miracle. Also Foles played below average in the playoffs.

Do you think that more of a statement that the Eagles aren't all that or Vegas trying to get suckers to bet on the Browns?

Vegas odds are as much reality as they are perception. Already saw a patsie fan citing "odds" as "disrespect." Ugh
