I'm totally sold on this kid, and pulling for him to be the pick at #4. I know there are a ton of football players out there with great stories, but this particular great story took place in Philadelphia, and the kid's skill set seems like the ideal fit for what Kelly and Davis are looking to create.

At this year's combine, Floyd ran a 4.92-second 40-yard dash (fast for a defensive tackle) while showing he possesses feet that are quick enough to make him useful all over the field.

"He has great position multiplicity, meaning he can play in several different places and schemes," said Muschamp, a former NFL assistant. "He's an ascending player, as far as his inside play on the line. He has great initial quickness and great football intelligence."

I think you are correct DT will be the 4th pick if they dont trade down. Dt are top value at the top of this draft then drop off. But are superior to last year. Also the release of Patterson and Jenkins is a red flag they like what they can get at the top of this draft.

I think the big guy from Utah is the pick but Floyd would also be a super pick

Then why not follow that up and solidify a young stud d line and draft the big kid from Georgia to play the NT

They should get a safety - deep and talented in this draft

Manuel would be a wasted pick IMO. If they don't take Geno Smith, they shouldn't take a QB any earlier than the 4th round. They could go in any order in the first 3 rounds, but it should and needs to be DT (3-4 DE), OT, and CB...

Ok DT - kid from Utah or Floyd to play both could play the end and move inside on certain downs. The kid Jenkins would be a great fit at nose tackle.

Personally Id rather see the kid from Utah be the first pick he is being rated better than Cox when he came out. Jenkins is the load they need inside.

Those would be my first two picks. Question is will Jenkins be around when they make their second pick. Dline of Floyd/ Lotulelei at one DE, Jenkins in the middle and Cox on the other side would be an great start to building this 3/4 D

3rd pick I would go safety simply because the you are likely to get a higher quality pick and it is still a need. Our safety play last year was dismal.

Then Manuel would be a great pick in the 4th round.

Still think there is a chance Foles is delt for a a high third round pick if the right player is around for them to pick up. Thats all up to whats in the coaches head. I have to think he has evaluated the tape and knows the system he wants to put in place. If Foles isnt going to be a fit I think he targets Manuel who fits his offense the best. It makes sense to draft Manuel to develop behind Vick and whoever else in his system. He has the tools to work in his system. If that doesnt work out and Eagles suck ass he goes after a qb next year when the draft will be deeper at the qb position. If he is going to put in a system similar to what he ran in college I just dont see Foles who I think is going to be a very good qb fitting that system. Think about camp. You need to all be on the same page running the same plays. You just dont try and put a round peg in a square hole.

With a trade of Foles that gives them a high pick to do exactly what you suggest OT or CB best value at that time of Manuel if they dont think he lasts till the 4th round.
