James Harrison on a bargain 1 yr deal?

I know the Eagles signed Barwin, and they have Graham and Cole, but this guy is a proven 3-4 rusher and edge LB. Yes, he's older and has some injury history, but so do a bunch of other FAs they signed.

Apparently he still thinks he can get somewhere near the 6.5M he made last season. I wouldn't go anywhere near that.

But if he remains unsigned and they can get him on a 1 yr deal at a bargain rate, I think he'd be worth bringing in. At least to camp to see what he has and if he fits. They can always release him if it doesn't work out.

This defense was awful last year and needs all the help it can get. Harrison could end up being an effective additon and a great price. Can't hurt to kick the tires.

Except for the NT they signed away from the 49ers, all their other FAs, coming off injury or not are all under 30--Harrison will be 36 when the season starts. And I don't think you're going to get him to come to a rebuilding team on a cheap one year deal.

that Belicheat just doesn't think a guy like Harrison will work in his system. I personally think Harrison has something left in the tank.
