I think there is a good chance he will play again. If he broke his tibia and fibula between the knee and ankle, his leg may be fine in 8 weeks if it's a clean break and does not require surgery. Totally depends upon what the break is like. Of course if the skin was broken or the bones shattered, it's a completely different story. But that looked like the bones just snapped like a stick.
I broke my leg when I was in 8th grade. I had a cast from above my knee to my foot. Took about 8 weeks to heal but after having a cast on for that time it took a while to get back to normal strength. Worst part was the dead skin and being unable to scratch the leg with the cast on. Casts now are a lot more advanced than the plaster ones back then.--------

from the fact that he broke it on a routine play to the 90 degree angle.
I hope he can walk let alone play.
My buddy had a serious break and dislocation and still walks with a significant limp today.Comment

Scratch everything I said before. Ware's fracture broke the skin, was in multiple places and required surgery.
But docs say he could be back in as little as 6 months.
