Mother Jones may be agnostic about Angelos because he's a plaintiffs' lawyer, but he's an asshole by the definition of any Orioles' fan.

What I found interesting about the article is that most O's fans hate Angelos because he's a penny pincher with the team (in a division of big spenders) while outside of baseball he's considered a big defender of the "average man" with his class action lawsuits and a philanthropist.

In the end, it's all about the wins and losses.

Montgomery and Giles' ownership has been far from perfect, and they've said some dumb things in the past. But I doubt you'll find two more approachable and nicer owners in any sport. I don't know anything about Middelton except that he has a lot of money.
