Halladay supposedly needs to fix his mechanics.
According an article I read his arm angle is too low or some shit, which has its genesis in him getting into a bad habit when trying to pitch in pain last year.

Saw pretty much the same one.
He got into bad habits working his body in a way that worked around the pain he was feeling. Ben Davis was on DNL a week or so ago, and his thoughts were that trying to reinvent ones self during the season could be pretty brutal. Hopefully, though, Doc can pull it off. If he can find his shit midway through the season it would be nice to have him solid for a late season push. i hope doc can pull it off but i'm not getting my hopes up. i think we're gonna see an aging doc, and we'll see hamels and lee be themselves with ERAs in the low 3s. kendrick will impress sometimes but he won't consistently perform the way he did towards the end of last season. lannan did his job as an innings eater his last time out...this doesn't have much to do with his performance but i'm shocked the guy is only 28. anyway...the bullpen sucks. papelbon's stuff is average, he performs well on an adrenaline rush. because the rest of the team isn't that great, he'll often be pitching when behind or in a tie-game...which won't do him any favors. offense actually isn't that bad but this team won't catch the nats or (shudders) braves.
