but the Flyers have to go into rebuild mode. They have a nice core of youngsters and hopefully can add a talent in the upcoming draft. Dump Bryz. Keep Mason. Amnesty Danny Briere and find a defenseman and free agent forward. It would be nice if they could get in position to draft Popeye Jones' kid Seth in the first round. That guy is gonna be a stud Dman for a long time.
Speaking of Popeye Jones, Seth has to be thrilled that he got his mother's looks. This is the Pronger trade haunting them. The Ducks are a cup contender as a result of this trade and it is going to hurt the Flyers for a while. Gave up too much to get one run at the Stanley Cup. According to this guy Jones will be the first BLACK star! Since Grant Fuhr wore a mask he doesn't count. He goes on the mention some other black players with only Dustin Bufflin reaching STAR status. I'll take Simmonds and PK Subban over Bufflin any day.
