It's slathered in mayo.

Looks tasty.

I wouldn't touch it. Processed meats, white flour, cheese. Terrible.

Young Skywalker, You Are NOT A Hoagie Expert Yet

Just because you have not learned to appreciate the joy of mayo does not mean this could not be considered a hoagie to some.

That said, to me it is a sandwich because the halves of the rolls are NOT connected -- you have a top piece of bread and a bottom piece of bread with all kinds of stuff in between, but that makes it a sandwich.
