    Eh?

For a "journalist," you sure don't respect journalism. As everyone else has tried to tell you, many people are covering this more accurately and more responsibly than CNN. Your fascination with pretty colors doesn't somehow make CNN's coverage "the best wall-to-wall coverage."

And why do you mock Twitter? If anything, it gives real journalists a great channel to reach an incredible amount of readers and it doesn't require a profitable business model based on sensationalist reporting to pay for scrolling tickers, holosets and other superfluous bullshit.

      Don't you get it?

You have to type and read on your phone to do that.

Next thing you know it's fire and brimstone coming down from the skies, rivers and seas boiling, forty years of darkness, earthquakes, volcanoes, the dead rising from the grave, human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria!

Since last night Gawker has posted breaking news from

        ABC
        NBC News
        NBC Connecticut
        WHDH Boston
        NPR
        New York Times
        Boston Globe
        AP

        Noticeably missing?

Early this morning, the Boston Police Department posted a picture of Suspect #2 taken from the 7-11 ON TWITTER. How patently irresponsible!

            Yeah -- Me

I prefer seeing things as they happen when that option in there. CNN gives you that chance while the others are broadcasting cooking shows, soap operas and other "gripping" programming.

At this point, I don't see much difference between Gawker and CNN. They're both aggregating someone else's scoops.

From CNN, five minutes ago, paraphrasing:

Terrorist Negotiation Specialist: They were probably going to lay low, but after pictures were posted, they knew they had to get away, they needed money, they knocked over the 7-11, they needed a car, they stole a car.

CNN Newsgal: Why would they call attention to themselves by robbing a 7-11?

BECAUSE THEY NEEDED MONEY YOU AIRHEAD!

                  Logical Question

It doesn't jive with the carefully planned elements of Monday. You would think they would have had an escape plan that was just as carefully planned.

It's almost as though somebody else planned the bombing and left the poor shleps who pulled it off to fend for themselves afterwards.
