  • CONFIDENTIAL to (c) Slagster and gun nuts

greatest opening ever? The gun nuts will self-cream watching this.

All you really need to watch is the first minute...the opening and the first scene with Dennis Hopper going nuts (I know, its a stretch).

also, this show was written by Sam Peckinpah.

                  the rifleman

Chuck Connors donated that gun to the Philadelphia Police department. It was at the round house when I went there on a field trip n grade school. Cop explained all about the gun. Then showed us 500 examples of zip guns. OF course we went right home and made zip guns. Great stuff....

You Want A Touch Of Reality With Your Kick?

"The Rifleman" runs on Me TV -- Memorable Entertainmernt Television -- and they have stars of old shows doing promos that run throughout the day.

Johnny Crawford is on several of them. Dude is older than me -- he's 67 -- but nowhere NEAR as handsome.

By the way, I didn't know he was one of the original Mouseketeers -- Disney's, not ours!

He was Jackie Robinson's Dodgers teammate

and played a couple years with the Boston Celtics in the league's early years (it was still known as the BAA back then).
