  • Foles>Weeden > Nassib >

If you read what real scouts think of this years Qb prospects its not to exciting.

Weeden would be superior to Nassib per evaluation coming out.

Real scouts that do it for a living not bs experts also rate Tannehill superior to Smith putting Smith coming out somewhere between Tannehill and Weeden

Now lets think about this Foles - if he doesnt fit what Chip wants to do - that remains to be seen but if he doesnt. I see him being offered this draft via trade for a pick.

Foles clearly outplayed Weeden last season. Do you think Cleveland would rather have him at qb. And if in fact Weeden compares favorably coming out to Nassib why would Buffalo or Jets consider him or Smith for that matter over a trade for Foles.

I think the Eagles the more I look at this - go for big DT in the first round OT at the top of the second round Wilson would be a very good pick and with the second rounder they get for Foles go for a big NT like Jenkins.

Then go after Scott the qb from Arizona who fits the mold better than Foles to come in and learn. Thats less pressure on Chip = and he gets a year to see what hes got.

i don't think chip will be able to get much for foles. if he's traded, it's because he doesn't fit the system. if he doesn't fit the system, his value drops. teams will know we're taking whatever we can get for him.

Nobody wants to take a chance on trading for an Andy Reid qb.

Points taken but, Foles has what it takes to play qb in the WC. His only big knock coming out was fear he would not be able to grasp a complex system quickly. He took the WC and did a fantastic job with it. Imagine if he had a fucking decent line in front of him and a defense worth a damn.

Sorry scouts evaluate on past performance not voodo your points above are voodoo. Foles had a decent rookie season without the help of a decent Offensive line in a complex WC offense. What do you think the qbs below would have looked like behind that line.

Who do would you rather have if you were a GM -- Foles or Sanchez === Foles or Weeden -- Foles or Tyler Thigpen, Tavaris Jackson

Foles or -- the group of Smith who scouts rate less than Tannehill coming out - or Nassib who scouts rate less than Weeden who rated less than Tannehill coming out or Manuel who scouts rate less than Tannehill and Smith but a bit above Weeden.

Sorry Foles for a second round pick in my book if Im coach trying to get the WC off the ground is looking very very good right now. With Foles I get a young qb who went through the growing pains in the wc offense with a shit stain of an offensive line and came out looking decent. For a freaking 2nd round pick and I keep my first. I would do that deal in a millisecond.

Im a Foles fan. Was one when he came on still am. But if he doesnt fit the offense then lets get something for him. I bet they do.

Foles has a burden-free contract too. I'd be surprised if they got a 2nd for him though, maybe a 3rd + a 6th or something.. Who wants him? He shows a lot of promise sure, but does Nick Foles really scream star QB? I think teams would prefer to take their own hand-picked QB with their own 2nd round pick than trade it to the Birds for Foles. I like Matt Scott though, lots of potential there, would be worth the 3rd, 4th, or 5th round pick it would take to get him.

I think Chip's first two picks need to be OL, 3-4 DE, and 3-4 OLB. Unless they really like one of the top 3 tackles they should go OLB/DE in the first because IMO there is a lot more talent at OL in the 2nd round...
