Manti Teo blew in that championship game because he will not be able to play at the next level (which is what Alabama is, Roll Tide). The guy gets swamped so easily. Forget about that guy.

IMHO, Te'o blew because he was targeted by the lineman and not allowed to flow to the ball. While he will need to learn how to handle that, but for that game it appeared as though they hit him every play (as they should) while allowing the other LBs to roam a little more freely.

Yes, he did blow some plays; no he didn't wrap up all the time, but historically he's a relatively sure tackler.

As far as the next level, I imagine that his companion linebackers will be higher quality than the ND crew. He still will have a learning curve, and time will tell if that happens.
