If Chip Kelly is going to work, it won't take "a while." Look at the Colts (or to a lesser extent the Rams) last year. If this Eagles team is going to succeed, it will happen in 2 years or not at all.

I think it could take two years to wash the Reid (FF) stench from the roster. 2010 and 2011 drafts were abysmal. Problem is HowLo was involved in those drafts too.

Look at the Colts (or to a lesser extent the Rams) last year.

I look at the Colts and I see Andrew Luck. I look at the Rams and I see a team that has been building around Sam Bradford for three years. The Eagles's situation looks more like the Rams to me and that means they are a few seasons away.

I think you are minimizing the impact of a roster with little talent. The Eagles need bodies at multiple KEY positions, including QB. This is going to take a while whether you like it or not.
