of course. but I wouldn't in front of potential employers who were going to be offering me millions of dollars. every time the camera showed him and he looked like he wanted to be anywhere but there it cost him more money.

his agent surely hammered the point to him to NOT do exactly what he did. teams are going to want to see he is unflappable and can deal with adversity. Even with that being the case he didn't come through and he was prepped for a situation like that for MONTHS.

If I'm a coach or GM who had questions about his makeup already do you think i'm gonna buy into him coming through for my team when they're down 6 and have 90 yards to go after seeing him last night? Not a chance.

Rodgers and Quinn both went through the same thing and didn't come off like this. They couldn't believe it was going on but never sulked or pouted. they sat there and took their medicine.

Edit: i have nothing personal against the kid and liked him on Gruden's camp. However, i think Manuel, Nassib and maybe Barkley will be better pro's and are better QB's. I just don't see him being elite or good enough in the NFL to get it done. think Foles is probably just as good for now. I'd rather get one of the kids coming out in 2014 than waste a pick on a QB in this year's draft when the position looks average at best.

What's the precedent for this? They've only had the 1st rd on Thursday nights for what 3 or 4 years now? How many guys have been invited to show up then not been taken in the first round? Did they show up the next day? It entirely makes sense to me that he wouldn't show up. The later rounds aren't set up to accommodate the little side shows for the rookies. Players not expected to go in the 1st round aren't invited to the draft for a reason. I see no reason to expect these guys to bask in the humiliation as some sort of demonstration of character.

I don' t want him but also can't fault him for not wanting to take part on the massive ESPN cringe pics session that is about to go down.

Never let them see you sweat....

He needed to handle it better and his handlers needed to do a much better job preparing him for this eventuality. Its not far-fetched to surmise that after the Rodgers' drop provided such "good tv" that the networks specifically invite guys who may drop just to further their cause/ ratings/reactions

ESPN/ NLFN are only too happy to show the raw emotion, so don't give it to them

Did he have a reasonable human response ? Perhaps, but on the Big Stage, he failed and that's a concern because every NFL game is loaded with shitty moments and he needs to be able to handle that. This was just another test and he came up short.

Shake it off and move on.

Rodgers absolutely sulked when he didn't get picked high in round one, so did Warren Sapp to a degree. Worked out pretty well for those two. My point is this is not something that will define his entire career, or speaks to who he is as a person. If anyhting, this should serve as fuel for him to get better and make those teams sorry that they didn't draft him. That's what I'm expecting.

The Eagles just recently employed The Mother Of All Sulkers as their quarterback for several years.

I don't want that bitch in a Eagles uniform.

Hopefully Jax or the Jets get him.

Cost him 15 million not going the first day. I'd be hosed too.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

He's supposed to "be a man" and be fine with losing all that cream, and then on top of that, stay and talk to all of the hacks that have been basically tearing him down for the past few months.

This clown moped in college. We knew this months ago. They need to swap this pick with the Jets and pass on this turd.
