This guy runs fantastic routes. He's athletic and strong. He looks like a future Pro Bowler. He is the highest drafted TE for the Eagles since Keith Jackson and I expect him to EXCEED Jackson's production.Originally posted by Maniac View Post
In four seasons in Philly Keith Jackson posted 61 rec. per season with 690 yards and five TDs. It is highly possible that Ertz exceeds those numbers. Obviously, the rule changes over the past ten years and Kelly's offensive system will help Ertz post inflated numbers but, nevertheless, this guy looks like an impact player in the NFL.
On top of all that he is the big, red-zone target the Eagles have been missing.

I've been thinking about that. I'd love for the Eagles to focus in on the defense for the rest of the draft, but maybe they think there is more talent on the team than appeared when Castillo was DC. It would be nice if a couple of the guys drafted in the last 2 drafts really came around in the new defense......and you thought I was ugly on the outside.
