Again. You are saying one of the worst. Your spectrum for what's the "worst parts" of his life has to be pretty broad if a tarnished/forgotten legacy comes within orbit of the murder trial, the civil trial, the book, or anything related to the murders.

I mean, where would you rank forgetfulness over his great acting career in terms of worst parts of this whole thing?

Well this is one of a history of threads I've contributed to about OJ Simpson. I'd say I mention him on an average of 1-2 times just about every Thursday-Sunday.

Look how I specifically attacked him in this thread by saying that someone else worried about his NFL career seems silly in comparison to the rest of his life. If that's not a bone to pick with the guy I don't know what is.

Don't let getting pissed off a me for complaining about your Tiger hate reduce you to making silly posts like this. You're better than that. Keep questioning my original statement to you and prove me wrong if you don't like it. Don't show me I've somehow gotten under your skin over Tiger Woods.

I can't help it if OJ was in jail and precluded you from hatin' while Eldrick is out here acting like a douchebag every 10 minutes.

So you must be referring to my constant hate of OJ whenever he pops up in the news?

Again, you're trying to be snarky here but you're missing. I didn't even attack OJ. If you want to have any semblance of accuracy (although still a weak semblance), my "hate" of Eagle in Ohio in this instance is what you should be calling near comical.

he was a great football player. one of the greatest. still a hall of famer. that was the point. In the midst of everything else that has happened in his life between the murder trial, the civil trial, the book, etc. etc. etc., the fact that he was an all-time great is what no one remembers. That was the point. The only point. Why are you acting like you can't see the original point ? That must be a mighty high soapbox, your head is in the clouods.

I said I get your point. Here are mine.

              1) Everyone already knows that he was a great football player with a tragic fall from grace.
              2) His tragic fall pales in comparison to the other tragedies surrounding his life. And it pales to such a degree it looks foolish to say, "Hey, let's not forget he used to be a great football player too"

Oh brother ... fish is a barrel.

Thanks for the laugh ... I'd love to continue but I'm going to head to the range to make an undoubtedly failed attempt at getting my wedge control to approach the magnificence of Eldrick's.

                      Rocky Marciano?

"Oh there they go. There they go, every time I start talkin 'bout boxing, a white man got to pull Rocky Marciano out their ass. That's their one, that's their one. Rocky Marciano. Rocky Marciano. Let me tell you something once and for all. Rocky Marciano was good, but compared to Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano ain't shit."
500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.
