BK Rib Sandwich. What say you Kelly Green?

    http://m.usatoday.com/article/news/2158431

McRib's got a new McRival. Burger King on Thursday will unveil its 2013 summer menu plans, highlighted by a new, limited-time BK Rib Sandwich, which is boneless like McRib — has a tangy sauce and comes with sweet bread and butter pickles. It will be sold nationally beginning May 21.

        You Like Sausage?

My stepsons' father's family butchered a steer every year and they used virtually everything. My wife helped wrap the cuts and make the sausage. She tells me, "You don't want to know what goes into sausage" so I don't ask -- but that doesn't stop me from eating it.

If the King Rib or whatever they call it TASTES good, what's your point?

I've got some baby back ribs marinating in barbeque sauce....

....for tonight. Mmmmm mmmm goood! I parboil the ribs and then I put them in a Ziploc with some barbeque sauce and let them marinate overnight. Then I'll finish them on the grill tonight. I don't have time for all of this low/slow cooking. The meat falls right off the bone! Hot damn!

My Wife Doesn't Like Barbecued Ribs

I e-mailed her yesterday to ask what she'd like for dinner and she said, "Whatever sounds good to you."

I replied, "Hell, barbecued ribs slathered in sauce and a big old salad sounds good to ME," but she chose to disagree.

You're a lucky man if your better half feels as you do.

You should have picked up some ribs for you and....

...got her a Swanson turkey dinner or something. Let me guess: She likes pasta. Tell her to boil some ziti and spill some Ragu on there.

London broil can be so hit or miss

Sometimes I get a good one, other times it tastes like liver-flavored shoe leather. I have better luck with the oyster cut. Lately I've been doing flank steak. A little more money, but very good.

Think of it as a mini-vacation. for 5+ hours you get to focus on meat, beer and herbs.
