  • Avant has seen time at DB

    @GeoffMosherCSN

    Just talked to Clay Harbor & Jason Avant. Harbor spent 1 day practicing at OLB. Avant has seen time at DB.
    Eh?

          Absurd. I'm pretty sure Jason Peters and his double-snapped achillies runs a better 40 than him.

            DBs are WRs with bad hands.

              Sounds like Kelly is giving them a chance to make the team.

                If he doesn't make the team I know a coach in Kansas City who would give up a fifth and some trash for Jason Avant.

                    I guess it makes sense. Your emergency depth at nickel is also one of your WR's as opposed to just being a ST player. Looks like they're going to be RB/WR/TE-heavy and light at DB/LB.

                      It makes it easier to understand why Jim jones convinced all those people to drink the Kool aid. It makes sense?? No it doesn't make sense. Are you nuts or just a part of the Chip-sheep generation? And if we heard that another coach was putting O players on D , everyone here would be on him like like provolone on pulled pork.

                      This is dumb. Guys who played Offensive positions their careers moving to various defensive positions.....really. Why would that be needed if they focused on D and put together a competitive roster? The Flim Flam man came and sold you 76 trombones and you are jumping up and down waiting for them to arrive.

                          Yeah...that's what I thought would come back........nothin. Part of the flock heading toward the cliff without a single independent thought on your mind.

                          So, "I guess it makes sense." Is it for you. Good sheep .....

                              Yes. Because players never play both sides of the ball.

                              Offensive players never play defense and vice versa.
                              John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.
