Two unanswered questions. Do the Eagles have a QB THAT can successfully execute chip ball? Can the D be competitive enough to keep them close in games where things may not be clicking on offense?

No announcement yet.
One thing that I would suggest, is not setting the win/loss bar too high, Maniac.

Did you see this? So you got one starting CB eating lunch in hs car for "me time" and the other starting CB sending out his buddy on fast food takeout runs for the team.

One former Eagle often had a buddy in an idling car waiting to drive him from the premises as soon as possible the last two seasons. This player (his last name rhymes with Rodgers-Cromartie) would run out for fast food at least once a week and come back with bags for teammates.

The link packwest posted has them as a three point favorite over kc, a one point favorite over dallas and pick em with vags.
Of course, those are all on that guy's game of the year list betting against the eagles.
I think you're underestimating chip's discovery of "sports science". We're talking personal smoothies!Blue Chip College Football - Coach Your College to the National Championship

And that's why its been suggested that Vick staying around serves multiple purposes
He isn't the future, but he is good enough to keep the Eagles viable while the next phases of the Kelly plan are rolled out... Eagles aren't trying to win a Title with Vick, but if they don't win a few games the natives will get restless and the new regime won't have the time nor the latitude to do what they want
Vick= viable while the rest of the team is built. Next year, he's gone

He can win a few games with his skill & experience, but his fatal flaws remain and nobody in Philly will shed a tear at his departure. Meanwhile the other QBs are learning while the OL, WRs and defense come together.
Chip gets a mulligan for 2013, continues to revamp the roster and has a full year of "preseason" games to evaluate and make changes in 2014.
Its actually a pretty sound plan- the Eagles aren't going anywhere with Vick, but they can gain benefit from him before his imminent departure
And Chip Kelly deflects any offensive problems to the QB "who can't read defenses, has too many turnovers and doesn't fit the offense"

That is a recipe for failure. If there is a QB ON THIS team who can successfully execute chip ball, he should be identified now and lead this team now. All this Silly crap about Vick QB for a lost year while we rebuild into the dynasty and setting the bar low and all the other gibberish is bull shit from the flock.
There is either a QB on this team who is our future or there is not. Vick in there playing the games will not help to determine this. If chip ball is more than a Tebow ......we don't need a year to find out.

Edited to add: They just traded their former "franchise QB" who started in 2011 even what Harbaugh drafted his replacement who fit his system (and then didn't start him).Last edited by JuTMSY4; 05-21-2013, 01:17 PM.
