that's a music stand. back when people used to read honest to goodness sheet music. or at least the chord changes. back when songs actually changed chords once in a while.
Man. RIP Ray. The Doors were famous when I was a toddler. I never got to see him perform live although the Doors were one of my favorite bands when in I was in High School/College.
I'm not sure their music has aged that well though. A year or two ago I watched an old performance of them at the Hollywood Bowl and I wasn't thrilled.
On the other hand I'm listening to some of their recordings tonight and they sure sound good.
I spent many a warm summer night with my weird scenes inside the Goldmine...Loved the doors; they still have the ability to take me back into whats left of My Memory..enjoy the next life Ray...
