Personally, I would only consider BK as a LAST resort, it WILL screw up your credit for years to come. How is your credit rating now?
Make a list of what you owe, and what you have for collateral, are you working? Is there any way to roll everything up into one payment? Anything you can sell to raise cash?
I know it sucks, but these are just some things that I would look into. To be honest, I really don't think that anyone can give you much other than suggestions, as every case is unique unto itself.
Good Luck going forward.Last edited by Eagle Road; 06-03-2013, 05:47 PM.

I would recommend you take any specifics off the board but I would take RSE up on his offer. He isn't your lawyer but I am sure he can give you some decent general advice and possibly some further directions for exploration to make the best out of a bad situation.--------

The best to you. It'll be a very bad few months, huh?
If your share is also $60,000, I am not sure if the immediate benefits of Bankruptcy would offset long term costs.
But, no mater what - just think the future will be better, because it will, as you go into the next phase of your life. And life can, and should be, very nice. Good luck.
And listen to what RSE says.
