    500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

      I don't disagree with that. Without Oz there would be no Wire or Sopranos. Oz which was a lesser show, still was the first show to push the envelope.

        Soap opera?

        Not even close.

        The show was ground breaking and the first two seasons were really good and unique ... then they fucked it up.

        Put a bunch of guys on the map also, including JK Simmons, Christopher Meloni, Dean Winters and Kirk Acevedo.

          That show was so fucking good ... for some reason there's a scene that stuck with me when someone is complaining about his family to Prop Joe and Joe says "they can be some burdensome motherfuckers" ... and I still use that from time to time when I complain about my own family.

              Harvard Law offers a course dedicated entirely to the Wire. Doubt any other show in TV History (Sopranos included) will ever have that honor.
