He turned out to be
A much better player than i expected but at 35 he's getting long in the tooth at it was starting to show.
Holmgren just signed a 35 year old defenseman to a 4 year $5.25 contract but when you're this close on the cusp of winning a cup you have to take chances like over paying for an older player. It's still less than the $5.5 million that the then 27 year old Matt Carl got from Tampa Bay....Dam Homer is good.
