      They are making it tough to want to sell right now.

      I think it's interesting that the team has been doing better with Howard out of the lineup.

        interesting but not surprising. Howard's career appears to be resembling several large first basemen's careers and his physical talents are leaving him quickly.

        It will be real interesting to see what happens if Ruf plays well or really well.

          As I was saying to a friend, I don't think Howard is mailing it in... I think his body is physically breaking down. If he has a future I think he needs to be a DH in the AL but at this point I'm not even sure he could handle that. And no team would assume his contract.

            The one thing about a dh is you need to hit, and right now just about all pitchers know how to pitch to him, and make him strike out.
