  • Maclin will be missed!

I guess the person who suggested this the way Eagles fans react when a good player is lost. You know try to minimize it, was right. In reality Maclin will be missed.

This is a bad break - Maclin has the tools to be great. He has shown signs of greatness take 2010 his second season he lead the league in redzone TDS and had 10 for us.

Sure he had a couple of tough years after that with a sickness, then a lousy qb behind a terrible o line. But this kid has very mad wr sills and only an IDIOT would down play them.

Wrs mature they get better with age he is just coming into his prime and he is far from finished. Man I cant believe sometimes the people that take the time to post on this board are actually football fans.

He's a #1 WR on a pass happy team that throws the ball 70% of the time. He has never broken 1,000 yards in a season. He's ok, maybe a little above average. He is nothing special.

Ross Tucker and Bob Papa were calling him the most significant injury of the offseason so far. Said he's the most complete receiver on the team, and he's doing what he's doing without all the looks Jackson gets. Tucker said he's top talent, and no one notices because he keeps his mouth shut and just plays the game.

The fact that it's getting this much play nationally should tell you something. No one cared when Pinkston got hurt (and he came off a year when he led the league in yards per catch), and no one blinked at the revolving door of Bs, Cs, and Js came through town.

EDIT: this was a reply to the thread in general, not to you. We can start another thread to talk Kevin Curtis, Ricky Proehl, Chris Collinsworth, and all your favorite pass catchers.

Pinkston is the bar in which all eagle receivers shall be measured against going forward.
