The Phillies didn't hit in that series if I remember correctly. That has nothing to do with Roid juicing.

The Phillies didn't hit in that series if I remember correctly. That has nothing to do with Roid juicing.

27 runs in 6 games isn't bad. Hamels and Lidge were huge weak links in 09'. If you had the 08', '10 or '11 version of those guys they could and probably would have won. Very likely they win game 3 (Hamels blows 3-0 lead) and quite possibly game 4 (Lidge gives up 3 runs with scored tied 4-4 in 9th), and would have had a great chance to win game 7 if it came to that. I'm quite certain plenty of guys on both sides were juiced up for that series.
