Weak. Didn't see one hit in 31 seconds. More like..."make contact, quick whistle" drill.
500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

I don't think Momah (#80) could have coughed up the ball any quicker than he did with very little contact

The Eagles aren’t tackling to the ground during practice, and Kelly said they won’t hit until they play an exhibition game.

“We have four preseason games for that,” Kelly said, via Geoff Mosher of CSNPhilly.com. “They’re hitting pretty good when they get an opportunity.”

Kelly believes that when players start leaving their feet, it’s easier to get caught in traffic and injured.

“When you get guys on the ground, it is not really the two guys that get tackled, it’s what’s chasing it,” he said. “Most of the time it’s not the tackle or the tackler, it’s the rest of the guys coming through.

“You have a lot of big bodies moving. There’s a fine line [in] what we have to get done from a work standpoint. We also know we have to get our guys to the game, too. It’s a dance everybody’s got to dance, but you want to make sure you get enough physicality in practice.”

          I like it

This isn't the 1980's where you have to pound yourself to death in practice before you even play any games that matter. Make sure they're getting that physicality, but save their bodies for the long haul.

The title of that video needs a question mark after it.

Reid ran some of the harshest camps. DB's played like shit last year. I'll reserve judgment until I see a PS game or two.

As far as Momah, he barely played college ball. He's gonna be a project.

                    Momah hadn't taken a hit since September 2011. http://www.phillymag.com/eagles/2013...-off-the-rust/

So they shouldn't conduct non-contact practice drills either?

I know Maclin was injured in a non-contact drill, I'm just saying there's no need to go balls out with all the hitting during practice sessions. Admittedly they were not a great tackling team by any means last year, but I'd like to make it to week one with the players that are going to be depended on standing upright

I was just joking since the only injuries they've had were non-contact. We'll see how they look in pre-season.

And they're still tackling, just not going to the ground - maybe it will force them to wrap up rather than dive.

These guys spent way too much time trying to blow somebody up and get on Sportscenter. I'd like to see some good wrap up tackling, screw the dramatic shit.
