500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are. -

girlfriend is from pittsburgh so i watch a few of their games...missed out on going to the stadium to watch the phillies play because my work wouldn't let me out. that stadium and view is awesome though.
anyways...they picked up francisco liriano in the off-season...guy with major arm issues in the past but when he's healthy he's a beast and he's healthy this year and pitching like a stud.
after like 20 years of stinking their prospects are actually coming through...mccutcheon is awesome...i love watching him play...marte is also good and they have some decent players.
where it's really kicking in is in the bullpen...best in the majors...and their starters are having really excellent seasons as well.
