so it is a cost benefit analysis. Jackson was worth the bad press to a minority of people. Cooper has no upside and is in a city with a large, large % of black people. If Djax said that(it would still have to be worse than that) as a member of the 49ers and had no real chance of being anything but a 4-5 receiver, he would be gone in a heartbeat.
