It makes sense that you don't want your image to be associated with the subject matter of that press conference but I just found it quite the contrast from the typical Eagles' media event.
Actually if you look at some of the videos reporters took with their cell phones, the mic did have an Eagles' logo on it but it was placed very low, out of camera range for the official video feed.
