The reason that Black people use the N word and still get upset when White people use it, is because a White person has never used that word in regards to Black people, and meant it in a positive way. White people have always used the N word as a means to demean, degrade, or belittle Black peopl, to make them feel less than human. What Black people did was take the word and flip it, making it a term of endearment BETWEEN US. Right or wrong, that's what it is. Just because Black people use it, it doesn't mean that White people are suddenly granted permission to do the same. Edit : yes white people, unfortunately, you still have to pay the price for the sins of your ancestors. Their actions in some way are still affecting you.
