When I first went to Mississippi 32 years ago;
I and two co-workers all from South Jersey, were dining at a very fancy restaurant in Gulfport, MS. After dinner we went into the lounge with a group playing Music; One of the songs they did had us aghast: It had the lyrics: My old lady ran off with a N---R, A month or so later, I was at another Fancy Lounge in Gautier, Ms. and heard the same song being played by a different group. I don't think anyone would play that song today.
Times sure have changed, you can't even piss in the alley anymore without someone filming it on a smart phone and posting it on the net!
