My only guess could be that Rube played hardball and waited for the Yankees to up a little and they held firm? Perhaps Rube is still bitter about the 09 world series and didn't want to help the Yankees at all? I'm not sure. Wasn't Asche playing third last night with young on the field? I guess when/if howard comes back this year it will be a problem.
