But i thought Cooper claimed he wasnt really a racist.

Never heard of such a thing. Maybe hes going for alcohol or anger management counseling.

You've never heard of sensitivity training or therapy? Welcome to the 21st century.

That's most likely what this is.

Its a bunch of BS. They just wanted to get him out of camp. Read the first paragraph of Ashley Fox column. Nobody on the team is going near him. They're trying to buy time. Doubt it works.

I think the most important thing in all of this is that HE'S NOT VERY GOOD AT FOOTBALL.

It's not like it's Tom Brady that said this.
Multiple sources said Big Ben was a general douche for years and years and hated amongst the whole team, but know why it never really got out? CAUSE HE'S GOOD AT FOOTBALL AND HIS TEAMMATES LIKE TO WIN.

Cooper used a hard N, is probably a 4th WR at best, and is now appears will a problem and source of division in the locker room.

What's the issue here? Cut him.

Out of sight, out of mind. Then cut his ass.

              Buh bye, Riley.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

I am guessing they are doing their "due dilligence" before cutting him? This is purely a guess, no factual information to back it. Has this ever happened before in the nfl? That is, an issue just like this? Wonder what the nflpa will have to say once he's cut....

Kinda humiliating for Cooper. Sensitivity training. Bwah!

Humiliation is probably the best punishment for him - actually force him to reflect on his behavior.

The punishment concept is misguided. Its not a crime to be a racist.
The question is whether the rest of the team will accept him as a teammate I don't see it. Punishing him doesnt make him less racist or more acceptable.

You cut him to keep the team together not as punishment.

It's a whole business. The military has a pretty big diversity program. The NFL should have something too. I would never in a million years say something like that asshole Cooper. I hope the Eagles cut his ass. And yes, I watched the entire sad video before I posted this.

Counseling isn't punishment. Cutting him outright would be more along the lines of punishment. Counseling is a form of rehabilitation.
