  • Eagles knew about the racial slur

Sorry if already posted, but ESPN is reporting that the eagles knew "about threatening tweets Cooper got before the release of the video of the racial slur.
Just amazing that these billion dollar organizations - catholic church, Penn State, eagles - know this stuff and somehow expect bad news to just go away. I think this makes it even a larger fiasco.

That's not what ESPN is reporting.

All it says is that Cooper told the Eagles about threatening tweets he received after the video came out.

Actually does not appear the Eagles knew the nature of the video. Riley only told them he had been getting threatened.

Still doesnt help the situation but not a cover up.

The season can't start soon enough. Some of these COOPER posts are breaking records or mental midgetry.

give the younger guys the reps and reap the benefits the next 3 years..

this is just too much for a new staff to deal with,,

Edit your header because it's wrong.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

I agree about playing the younger guys. One thing that I think is curious about the whole ordeal is that the organization is handling it exactly the same way they would have if Andy were still here.
.....and you thought I was ugly on the outside.
