They did trade for their biggest need - a QB. Other than that I think their biggest problem was coaching - and Reid should be a serious improvement. They have talent already.

I don't think they're a SB favorite, but I think they could be pretty good. I wanted Smith to the Eagles - he's athletic and manages the game pretty well.

His success was with Urban Meyer and he actually carried the ball a lot.

Now, we'll see what Reid does with him but I expect he'll keep them in contention.

The Chiefs are far from the worst roster in the NFL, though. Reid/Banner left the Eagles' roster decimated sans OL/RB.

I think Denver is the favorite to win the AFC West but KC should have a real shot at being a wildcard team in the playoffs. Even though there are a lot of good teams in the AFC.
