I'd rather Moss if we are reaching into the WR graveyard.

I'd rather go 3-13 and draft someone worth a damn. Real talk.

What's the point of bringing in a veteran on his last legs when he's not going to contribute to anything long term? Maybe the WRs on the roster do suck but we'll never know until we give them a chance in the regular season. I think we're all too used to contending every year in which case bringing in a veteran would make sense, but realistically they aren't "all-in" this year and there's no reason to sacrifice possible long-term progress for slight short-term improvement.

I think thats the main reason they have not brought anyone in, evaluation year see whats on the roster. Next year when things start coming together you may see some more talented aquisitions.

They should know by the end of camp if they suck or not. If they suck they should bring a WR from outside if only for the sake of the rest of the team.

I think it's more like the available talent pool will be greater after final cuts than it is right now. Why stay wedded to our scrubs when there may be better scrubs available? Unless some of our scrubs step up they will need to bring somebody in.

                  Why bring in a retread

when this is an obvious rebuilding/evaluation year?? A complete regime change..don't need anybody else's baggage on this train

If we were in real contention I could see plugging a hole, but I hope fans realize this is a sausage making year, gonna be nothing pretty about it.

I don't have a clue about the other guys.

but I don't look at it that way. I expect wins. I expect playoffs. This team has the talent to get there, in my opinion. It'll be up to the Chipster to make it a reality.

It's hard to accept reality with the Eagles. Much easier with the sixers and phillies (at this point). Go look at the depth chart for me... look at the cornerbacks and safeties, even if you already have, do it again. There's very few positions that you should be overly confident with as well.

I expect a result similar to Andy Reid (FF)'s first year coaching the Eagles.

I suspect some of the players we have questions about will turn out to be OK and others will be out of the league by this time next year.

Agreed... hopefully it goes in the same direction after as well, without the choking around the peak.

This is a rebuilding team with a new HC and new system on both sides of the ball. Hell! by 3-4 games we might see Foles at the helm.

Need to go with the young guys and evaluate them. Next year draft could be a starting point for a WR if none of these guys pan out. I really don't think Maclin will be here long term.
