....moving on from Michael Vick completely. It must have something to do with money. Like if they dumped him they'd still owe him eleventy million dollars or they would be in cap hell or some sh*t.

From what I've heard Nick Foles has been atrocious in practice. So even if Kelly wanted to move on from Vick he would be looking at a choice between a wet-behind-the-ears fourth round draft pick and a middling prospect who appears lost in the system he is installing.

Where and when exactly did you "hear" this?

From everything I've read, Vick and Foles have both had their good and bad days and that Vick's last few days have been pretty solid.

Vick has more natural talent than Foles and many QBs in general. That's why he's still around - unless his shortcomings really are a detriment to his talent he's going to be given a chance to play.

With 11 guys on offense, and all of them new to this scheme- its hard to evaluate Foles without some sort of baseline. Vick is the baseline. IF Vick can move the offense but Foles can't then you have learned something

But without seeing how the vet does with this assemblage of players, you don't know if its Foles who came up short or the OL or the WRs etc

That's also likely why they are alternating series, so Chip can eval the QBs with the same set of players - which removes the other 10 variables from the QB assessment.

And since he and Belichick are so tight, its not out of the realm of possibility that they could be working "together" in setting the initial offenses and defenses. Chip wants to eval different QBs vs Patriots D and the Patriots D wants to eval their defensive players vs different types of QBs.

Or maybe he just is doing it to piss off Maniac ( its working !)

Plus there are still a lot of Vick fans that probably buy shit.

I have a friend who has been to a couple closed Novacare practices. It's only his opinion but he said Foles looks more lost and less polished than even Barkley.

That said, if you read newspapers you're only getting the opinion of writers who have a vested interest in fueling a QB controversy.

It is called MAGICAL THINKING --- you see a lot of it on this board and in politics. Person has an agenda, they picked their man. Then proceed to magically get news in their head that backs their choice. Problem is the news was not from any reliable source, but mostly created in the cavern between their two ears they call a brain.

When asked for sources they never respond and ignore your question. But always continue to spew the same bullshit over again. Or its a friend who has " some kind of inside info or opinion" when in reality it is a magical friend again created through the power of MAGICAL THINKING.

I respect your Opinion mann but...

think you need to let the Vick stuff go,,he's here on a 1 year deal so chip can see what he has left...I myself would love to see Vick with a Coach who will run the football and get Mike some protection and lanes to throw...the guy can be very good,,,he is just a toy right now ....how long till the toy breaks,,thats when its over,,game 6,,,game 8?

so sit back and enjoy the Area,,,,CK Area...
