  • Watching This Game Is Brutal

After NFLN switched to Dallas, I put on the local Fox affiliate. The Pats announcers just spent the last 10 minutes talking about how amazing Brady is, how opponents don't play their best against him because they're nervous in his presence, how being his backp is a tough job because you can never hope to be as good as him and how he can and will read every defense's tells and make the perfect play every time.

I'm not even exaggerating, this is what I've been stuck listening to.

Yet The Slack Jawed Yokel beat him twice in the Super Bowl.

Brady is a great QB but it has been a while since he has won a SB. He is not on the upside of his career. Time waits for no one. If he is gonna win another one I think it has to happen this year or next.

Without the defensive signals, he's human.

The classic Philly sports fan mindset. It's not right or wrong - it is what it is. Both a shame and a mantle of pride. Love and hate in constant turmoil.
