I think that accounted for the big improvement in the defense. I'm nowhere near the Billy Davis bandwagon yet.

But you can tell about the play calling/thinking on his feet stuff whether the results are there or not. Reid never showed a feel for the game especially in time crunch situations.

Also the O-line looks a helluva lot better. Could be scheme or talent.

I hope Vick isn't teasing us again ... because if he actually doesn't go mental after a good stretch, like when he took over for Klob, his arm and legs could make this offense fucking serious.

Foles is good enough to run this, but Vick is one of a handful of guys with an all-world arm.

Last night they backed off Jackson with Vick in the game and he ran two sideline stick routes and caught two bullets.

It's a different game when the bell rings, but this shit is really interesting and new.

And I forgot how good McCoy is in space ... with him in the game, defenses won't know whether to shit or go blind.

It's not Billy Davis' fault that they don't have top-tier talent on the defensive side of the football. He can only use the ingredients in the cuppard.

Although that doesn't mean that Cox, Kendricks or Curry won't become the guy who scares other teams. It just might take a while.

This defense is going to need more time and more talent to develop into a serious defense but let's not be so quick to dismiss Billy Davis and what he's trying to do here.
