I agree with what Melchoir said. What message does it send if you don't name the guy who played best the starter.

It doesn't matter anyway, Vick's gonna get hurt so we'll get Foles/Barkley then.

I think he sees Barkley as his long term starter. I don't think it was ever Foles. He's just going with the guy he thinks gives him the best chance to win right now (and Vick has looked better). I don't think anyone is expexting a SB this year - including Kelly.

          This is what Vick does

He shows those mad skills and coaches start going all googley-eyed for him. All coaches think that they can coach people and Vick is the greatest Frankenstein of them all. They go, "I know I can teach this guy how to be a quarterback." I know alot of you guys think he's tough because he likes getting his a$$ beat, but I just think he's stupid. I mean the man can't even be taught how to hook slide to protect himself. Don't even get me started on how well he protects the football.

Under the disasterous circumstances of last season, Foles was thrown into a bad situation and did very well. He also, ran chips offense well the past 2 games. So, what do we want. Building a team with a future chance to be a serious contender.......or Michael Vick showing his flashes of brilliance but with the ultimate result of failure?? So, they trade Foles, Vick starts ...Vick fumbles Vick gets intercepted Vick gets injured?? Then what .....draft Johnny football next year?? Vick shoUld have been out with Reid after last year. More of him just extends the Eagles as a non entity in the league. Lets find out if Foles can be our QB going forward. We know that Vick can't. This move makes no sense.

Just confirms that chip will be coaching college in 2015.

                    Come on.

It's the fucking NFL, not high school ... and, despite the protestations to the contrary by Maniac, the guy actually isn't HS Harry.

They eat 3 million if they cut Vick.

He was the defending champ ... you have to lap him to get the nod.

Foles showed he can run the show but not so much better that a vet loses the competition.

And Foles won't get stunted watching until Vick gets hurt or goes fucktard mental.
Obscenity is the last refuge of an inarticulate motherfucker.

So just so I understand---if they named Foles the starter then that would give the team a chance to be a serious contender in the future? I thought the future was sealed already, Chip is gone in 2 years, how does Foles being the starter change that?

for a rookie 3rd round pick with a terrible offensive line, average to below average wideouts, no real running game and one of the worst defenses in football and possibly in the history of football...yeah, he didn't do too bad.

                              Foles was bad, period.

Was this meant to be in response to my post? Foles definitely looked competent running the offense but I think Vick looked better. I still think Chip is looking for Barkley to be the long term guy.
