  • Confidential to IRISH GEORGE re T&F

This girl was a year behind my daughter in high school, though she obviously competed in different events, but I did get to see her run many times from the time she was a bag of bones freshman at Neptune High School. My daughter did meet her around, and she really is a sweet, modest kid from a good family.

She decided to pass up college track to go pro right out of high school. I guess she made the right choice.

Thanks for sharing this. I watched her race in Moscow and was wondering what her background was? Sounds like an impressive young woman.

I have been following Ajee for some time. That's cool that you daughter had the experience to interact with a future great.

Speaking of great, the worlds were really good this year. Bolt now has 10 gold medals tying him for first alltime with another NJ track champ you may have heard of by the name of Carl Lewis.

      Thanks for posting.

I didn't see the 100 but I did see the 200. I don't think Bolt will ever be beaten in the 200. Nobody has ever or will ever again run the turn the way he does with that stride of his. He had that race won within 80 meters.

two years ago is in my top five alltime live sports moments. Just him showing up on the track with 25,000 Jamaicans and Jamaican-Americans going nuts. Before he even ran.
