Last week most Eagles observers were saying there were improvements, but the two main points being made over and over and over were:
1) This season will at least be entertaining
2) Thank god FF is gone
Last night, an entire nation of Eagles fans and haters went:
Wha wha whaaaat?!
The Marty Morhinwheg offense was in full effect. Vick threw two of the absolute worst Eagles passes I have seen since Brad Goebel did his Garo impression on a Monday Night Game about 20 years ago. The 2-deep/NOBODY-deep-enough look between Chung and Williams(?) while Justin Fucking Blackmon and Chad Henne torched them for the TD was so cute.
I hope to god that Kelly will be able to make in-game adjustments. While it seemed they were going to see how far they could get running a traditional offense (complete with Vick under center), it was embarassing.
One final note: Baldinger apparently said he thinks Graham is on the bubble. I tend to agree. If you want a pass-rusher tinkertoy, I'll go with Curry.
