We have a whole season of a new Coach new systems to watch. Will it be rocky im sure it will be. Why not just enjoy the fact we have Eagles football again.

I really believe this offense will be fine. That offensive line could be the best in football if they stay healthy. It all comes down to the defense. There is no way to see what kind of product your going to get till the real games start and vanilla ball goes away.

If the defense improves there is no way they are in the running for a top qb so why even think about it. Personally if they were Id rather have Clowney than any of the qbs for this team right now.

Last night was the first preseason game that wasn't aired here. Not knowing the outcome, quality of play or anything, I checked in here at 0615 and chuckled for three pages of awesome recap/commentary.

Personally, I think its good that the birds got kicked in the mouth. People, maybe team included, were beginning to believe a greater than .500 season was probable, not just remotely possible

Systems don't matter when you don't have enough talent. Three years. gonna take three years.

And I do have faith that Tom Gamble and company can fill the cupboards. Just can't do it that quickly. Looks to me that they hit on Lane Johnson. And that's what you need. Three or Four years in a row where you don't swing and miss at the first rounder.

FF and Banner swung and missed pretty much every year in the first round. That's why we are where we are. Mid round success is nice, but not as nice as consistently succeeding with the first rounder. That's where the difference makers come from.
